James Raymer – Dalco Home Sew
James Raymer has been in the textile industry for more than 25 years. As managing director of Dalco Home Sew, he and artist/digitizer Norman Gates have spent the past three years creating appliqué design collections for a dealer network. The company offers easy-to-use appliqué kits in more that 50 motifs.

Learn the Art of Making a Heat Transfer

All participants will be supplied with heat transfer paper, crystals—bring a pair of tweezers and you will be able to make a transfer of “I love quilting” or “I love sewing”—bring a garment or a bag and we will put it on for you. Once you learn the technique, you will be able to make your own designs.

A Sparkling Treat for Halloween

We will supply background fabric, binding, batting, crystals and an easy stitch appliqué from our new Halloween collection. We will all  sew the design, learn appliqué the easy stitch way, add embellishing crystals  and when we are finished you will have an addition to a trick or treat bag, or a wall hanging.
