Luveta Nickels – The Junk Jeans People
Luveta Nickels lives on a farm near Clark, SD, and draws on her rural upbringing for inspiration. She loves to create “Something from Nothing” and says she’s never met a fabric she didn’t like! She owns her company called The Junk Jeans People and has lots of help from her family. Luveta has many patterns, books, and notions to her credit and has appeared on PBS TV many times. She enjoys international travel, teaching and meeting new students all over the country. Luveta has lightheartedly been nicknamed the Denim Diva from her students which deem her classes easy, educational and full of fun.
