You will be hard pressed to find a more entertaining personality and enjoyable class or lecture than one with international quilt teacher, designer and editor, Mark Lipinski. As a designer, Mark’s recent work has been seen in McCall’s Quilts, McCall’s Quick Quilts, Quiltmaker, American Patchwork and Quilting, The Quilter and Fabric Trends magazines and has appeared on HGTV’s Simply Quilts. He has also launched a line of his own quilting patterns, called “The Quilts of Pickle Road.” Mark has designed patterns, products and workshops for companies like Benartex, Andover Fabrics, LakeHouse Direct, Maywood Studio, RJR Fabrics, Island Batiks (Bali and California), M&S Textiles Australia), Langa Lapu (South Africa), Wrights EZ Tools, Libas Limited Silk and the Prym Dritz Company. A veteran, multi Emmy Award nominated and Cable Ace Award winning, talk show producer and programming executive, producing shows as Oprah, The View, The Joan River’s Show, Attitudes and Rikki Lake to name but a few, Mark conceived and developed the ultra-successful publication called, Mark Lipinski’s Quilter’s Home, which has been published by CKMedia, Inc. since 2006.
