Round Bobbin Quilting and Sewing Expo Returns to Springfield, MO Round Bobbin Expo was a regular event in Springfield a few years ago. And, since we left, we have had many people write or call and ask about another event. The attendees loved this event. They truly enjoy the teachers and the vendors. They want an event!! We feel the time is right to bring it back. Springfield and the surrounding area have a wealth of wonderful people who love to sew and quilt. And given the demographics, this area should prove to be a prosperous event for those who exhibit. In addition to the exhibitor shopping area, we will display a quilt art exhibit. We are asking many of the guilds and teachers to bring in their own pieces for display. We will also have some national traveling quilt art exhibits on display. The event will be held at the Springfield Expo Center. This is a beautiful center with lots of parking. The University Plaza Hotel is located across the parking lot and they have given us some competitive room rates. Teachers needed. We are looking for teachers for this event, both garment and quilting related. If you are interested in teaching, please contact our office. I hope you will consider exhibiting and teaching at this event. With our space, it appears we will be limited to about 100 exhibit booths.
