Round Bobbin Springfield Quilting & Sewing Expo
Springfield, MO, April 8-10, 2010
Amber Plemones
Amber Plemones has lived in the Rogersville, MO, area most of her adult life along with her husband of 27 years and two sons. She developed a love of sewing from a young age and noticed that she would touch and feel anything made of fabric that she passed by. So, in 2002 she opened her first quilt shop with nothing but a love of fabric and 500 bolts of material. Since that time she has strived to learn the fastest, easiest, and newest ideas available to make quilting more enjoyable for her customers. After owning the shop for a couple of years she decided to try her hand at designing her own patterns and realized that she really enjoyed this aspect of quilting. She has taught several classes at the quilt shop, guilds, and quilting groups. Some of her favorite classes have been quilt as you go classes and techniques classes. Having a quilt shop has been a great joy for her and the friendships that she has developed along the way have been amazing. It has been seven years full of wonderful new experiences and with God's blessings, and she look forward to many more.
