Round Bobbin Quilting and Sewing Expo -- UPDATE Time is fast approaching and we are looking forward to meeting all of you in Springfield, MO. Thank you for exhibiting at the Round Bobbin Quilting and Sewing Expo, April 8-10. Event Address: Springfield Expo Center, 635 St. Louis Street, Springfield, MO. NEW Setup Hours: Wednesday, April 7, 10 am – 8 pm (This is earlier than previously posted) Exhibit hours: Thursday & Friday, 10 am to 5 pm. Tear Down: Saturday 4 pm – 8 pm Classes begin at 9 am all three days. Loading Docks. Loading dock is located on the North end of the building on East Trafficway between John Q. Hammons Parkway and Kimbrough. We are the only show at the facility, so we shouldn’t have any problems with the dock situation. This is a non union hall so you will be able to load and unload your own products. We would advise you to also bring your own two wheeled carts if possible. You will be able to hire help from the facility if necessary. The forms should be in the exhibitor kit that’s available online at www.roundbobbin.com. Booth information/furnishings. Your booth consists of an 8 foot back drop and 3 foot sides. If you need an 8 foot side, this can be provided at $30 per booth. Please call our office to order the 8 ft side drapes if you did not order it on the exhibit contract. Each booth comes with one 8- foot covered and skirted table, 2 chairs and a waste can. The hall is NOT carpeted. Hotel Accommodations. We have special rates at the University Plaza Hotel. The hotel is located next to the Convention Center. Please call the hotel now and make your reservations by calling 417-864-7333. As for the Round Bobbin Rate. The hotel has free parking. Room rates are based on availability. Please book right away. Special Hotel Rebate. For every vendor who stays at the hotel for 2 or more nights, Round Bobbin will rebate $20 for every paid booth. Just give us your hotel receipt after the show. This is not a hotel rebate. The rebate is from Round Bobbin and will only be issued by Round Bobbin after the show. Show Decorator. The Convention Center is acting as the decorator for this event. I have attached the information you’ll need to order electrical, extra tables, carpet, etc. We will need your badge information by March 15. Badges will be held at the registration counter for all vendors. Please fill out the form for Badges and return to our office via fax at 515-282-4483 or you can e-mail the list to info@cdmshows.com.
